Motion Graphics Internship | Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club

The Tone:
This is an internship at the Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club, located in Estero, FL. The Florida Everblades are a premier ECHL hockey team operating alongside Hertz Arena, a leading entertainment venue. This role provides an opportunity to create visually engaging motion graphics and video content for a professional sports team and a multi-purpose entertainment venue. This intern’s work will be seen by thousands of fans at games and events, directly contributing to the team’s marketing and fan engagement efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design and produce motion graphics for in-arena video boards, including game-day animations, player introductions, and promotional content.
• Create: Create engaging video content for social media platforms, website promotions, and digital campaigns.
• Edit: Edit video footage and integrate motion graphics for game recaps, highlight reels, and event teasers.
• Produce: Assist in live event production, including preparing and queuing motion graphics for games and events.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visually consistent content and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student or recent graduate from a degree program in Motion Graphics, Animation, Video Production, or Graphic Design.
• Experience: A portfolio or reel showcasing relevant motion graphics or video work is required.
• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and visual composition; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Cinema 4D, Photoshop, or Illustrator; enthusiasm for sports, entertainment, or live event production; comfort working in occasional high-pressure live event situations.
