What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting & Trading Support: Under minimal supervision, provide comprehensive accounting and trading support activities specifically for funds of moderate complexity. This involves understanding the nuances of financial instruments and fund structures to ensure accurate operational backing.
• Compliance Document Review: Execute thorough reviews of moderately complex financial documents sourced from various departments across the Bank. The primary objective is to meticulously confirm adherence to established internal processes and regulatory procedures, mitigating potential risks.
• Procedural Adherence Monitoring: Systematically review a moderate volume of processed documents to verify that all team members and processors have strictly followed established operational procedures, ensuring minimal risk exposure and operational integrity. This leverages existing knowledge of procedural guidelines.
• Fund Data & Trade Management: Precisely track all relevant fund data and trading activities. Maintain detailed and accurate records of moderate complexity, ensuring full compliance with current department policies and standard operating procedures for data retention and integrity.
• Process Optimization & Reporting: Proactively identify and search for potential fail points or inefficiencies within existing processes. Draft clear and concise error reports for internal use and client communication, demonstrating an understanding of compliance rules and service level agreements (SLAs).
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, making this an ideal early career opportunity within financial services.
• Experience: While no specific years of experience are mandated, candidates with prior exposure to financial services operations are preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated capability in accounting principles, financial trading support, comprehensive document review, accurate data tracking, and a foundational understanding of compliance rules and process analysis.
