Mergers & Acquisitions Intern | Apex Service Partners
The Tone:
This is a part-time summer internship at Apex Service Partners, located in Irving, TX, with a hybrid work policy. The company is actively executing a Mergers and Acquisitions strategy, integrating 2-4 new acquisitions every week. This role is vital for supporting the People Operations team in the execution of this strategy, offering hands-on exposure within a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Integration Support: Support 4–8+ active deals simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution of M&A processes.
• Task Tracking: Track system integration tasks across multiple concurrent acquisitions and manage all milestones and deliverables in Monday.com.
• Data Preparation: Prepare acquisition data into required formats and standards, including validating employee data and organizational mapping before close.
• System Configuration: Run test uploads, resolve kickouts, and assign necessary system permissions across HR systems.
• Post-Close Maintenance: Audit and correct data discrepancies and process tickets for changes to system permissions and email addresses post-acquisition.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum 2nd year undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Must be an enrolled student in good standing.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with comfort managing multiple priorities. Must be execution focused and detail oriented.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Power BI and HR Systems such as ADP or iCIMS.
