Marketing Operations Intern | Medidata
The Tone:
This is an internship at Medidata, located in New York, NY. Medidata builds advanced digital solutions to power smarter treatments and healthier people through innovation in clinical trials. This role supports critical operational tasks for the Email Marketing and Lead Management teams, directly contributing to overall campaign effectiveness by optimizing processes and exploring AI-driven improvements.

• Team: Integral part of the Marketing team, supporting Email Marketing and Lead Management.
• Mission: This person supports marketing operations to enhance data quality, optimize creative asset management, and explore AI-driven improvements for campaign effectiveness.
• Tech Stack: Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, Microsoft Office platform
What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Improvement: Assist in the construction of new AI process improvements for the Marketing department.
• A/B Testing: Execute AI-assisted A/B testing on various email elements and generate comprehensive performance reports for insights sharing.
• Asset Management: Oversee the management and organization of creative assets within Email Marketing tools.
• Data Quality: Conduct mass data clean-ups and implement controls to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Documentation: Assist in the creation of presentation decks and comprehensive process documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with a focus on Operations, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
• Experience: No prior experience required beyond academic enrollment.
• Skills: Analytical mindset with a “test and learn” approach, strong interest in AI toolsets, process automation, and project management, proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, and the Microsoft Office platform, precise attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Marketing CRM or Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) tools.
