This is a full-time Marketing Management Trainee position at BNSF Railway, located in Fort Worth, TX, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. • Mission: Gain comprehensive skills in project management, market research, strategic planning, and customer relationship management to support the B2B freight transportation market.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Knowledge Acquisition: Gain in-depth knowledge of the Marketing department, the BNSF network, and its internal systems and applications.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, functioning as an intermediary and educator regarding BNSF offerings.
• Service Resolution: Protect customer interests by identifying and resolving daily tactical service issues, and performing analysis for chronic problem identification.
• Process Improvement: Provide feedback in the development and design of service and system enhancements to improve business processes and strategic marketing information.
• Workflow Management: Coordinate workflows and manage time efficiently to correspond with the customer’s specific business needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university. Must maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
• Experience: Less than three (3) years of professional work experience, excluding internships, part-time jobs, or positions held while pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Skills: Project management, market research, strategic planning, customer relationship management, analytical prowess, leadership, teamwork, clear communication, adaptability.
• Bonus: Prior intern experience or less than 3 years of work experience in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a Supply Chain related field; held a leadership position in a campus, community, or extracurricular organization; pursuing a degree in Marketing (B2B) or Industrial Engineering.
