This role is integral to supporting the marketing manager and director in executing a wide range of advertising and promotional campaigns. These campaigns are designed to drive audience engagement, expand the blog’s reach, and solidify its brand presence within the digital landscape. What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Execution & Support: Actively assist in the planning and execution of diverse marketing initiatives aimed at driving audience engagement, fostering community growth, and achieving overarching business goals for the blog. This includes supporting internal departments in meeting their marketing objectives.
• Digital Campaign Management: Support the marketing and email specialist in writing, editing, building, testing, scheduling, and managing email marketing campaigns within the Marketo system. Additionally, assist with the setup, copy entry, audience coordination, scheduling, QA, and performance tracking of app push notification campaigns.
• Content & Collateral Development: Collaborate closely with the brand creative team to develop persuasive marketing collateral. This content will be utilized across various platforms for marketing campaigns, partnership activations, and public relations efforts, ensuring cohesive brand messaging.
• Marketing Workflow & Calendar Management: Help maintain comprehensive marketing calendars for email, app push notifications, advertising, and all promotional campaigns, including youth programs (or audience engagement initiatives) and brand-specific projects.
• Tool Utilization & Consistency: Leverage approved AI tools to enhance marketing workflows, supporting tasks such as research, first-draft copy generation, campaign organization, and process efficiency. Ensure consistency of marketing communications across multiple media channels and manage the timely delivery of all collateral and print projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently studying or a recent graduate in marketing or a closely related field, signifying an an entry-level career interest in digital marketing.
• Experience: Previous marketing experience is preferred. Specific experience in building and managing email marketing campaigns, particularly with Marketo, and app push notification campaigns, is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), excellent follow-through and organizational abilities, capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects, and an inherent curiosity and willingness to learn new marketing technologies and AI tools.
• Bonus: Familiarity with key aspects of digital campaign management such as QA processes, audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking. Prior exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude, and an interest in applying AI to marketing strategy, copywriting, and project management, are highly valued.
