Marketing Intern – HAE Franchise (10-Week Summer Internship) | CSL Behring

The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at CSL Behring, located in the US. CSL Behring is a global leader in biotherapeutics, driven by its commitment to saving lives through innovative therapies for various medical conditions. This role is designed to launch a career in healthcare marketing, specifically by supporting the Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) Franchise and contributing to real-world marketing initiatives within a competitive therapeutic area. The intern will gain exposure to brand growth and commercialization strategy with a recently launched product and expanding franchise.

• Team: Reports to the Marketing Director, collaborating with commercial, cross-functional, and agency partners.
• Mission: Supports the marketing strategy, execution, and analysis for the HAE Franchise across both patient and healthcare professional segments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct: A comprehensive review of the HAE competitive landscape, specifically focusing on patient demand-generation activities across digital, social, and live programs.
• Analyze: Competitor healthcare professional (HCP) marketing and sales materials, including those utilized in-office and through digital channels.
• Support: The development and execution of key marketing tactics aligned with U.S. commercialization efforts for the HAE Franchise.
• Assist: With digital asset creation, project management, vendor coordination, and the tracking of budget expenditures.
• Help drive: Marketing materials from initial concept stages through to completion to enhance commercial effectiveness.
• Collaborate: Cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders and external agency partners to support patient and HCP engagement initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate marketing, communications, or a related program.
• Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities; highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; demonstrated enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a team-based environment.
