Intern – Marketing – Bicycle Tire, Year-Round | Continental
The Tone:
This is an internship at Continental, located in the Denver, CO area with a hybrid expectation to commute to Golden, CO. Continental is a leading tire manufacturer and industry specialist, founded in 1871, building premium tires and smart mobility solutions for various vehicles globally. This role is vital to supporting the strategic growth of the Bicycle Tires Division in the Americas by ensuring smooth marketing operations and athlete engagement.

• Mission: Ensures smooth operations across athlete engagement, media orders, contracts, purchasing, and event planning to support strategic growth in the Americas region.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Coordination: Assist with planning events across the Americas, ensuring activation components like giveaways and display materials are ordered and athlete contract fulfillments are met.
• Partner Support: Coordinate tire orders for athletes, media partners, and sponsors, tracking contracts, vendor approvals, and purchase orders for timely delivery.
• Contract & Procurement: Support the tracking of contract approvals, manage electronic signature workflows, assign and monitor purchase orders, and track invoices for timely payment.
• Strategic Growth Initiatives: Research and recommend cycling events and regions with high growth potential, identifying and engaging with athletes, ambassadors, and influencers aligned with the brand.
• Divisional Contribution: Potentially contribute to website management, project management, and athlete management efforts to support the Bicycle Tires Division.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited degree program for at least another 12 months, working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Sports Marketing, or Business; knowledge of cycling is a must.
• Experience: Willing to dedicate 12 months toward the internship, available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri), and maintains a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, and a detail-oriented approach with problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Ability to travel to 1 to 2 events per year to gain experience and cycling knowledge.
