Marketing Intern | American Rheinmetall

The Tone:

In this role, the Marketing Intern will play a crucial part in assisting the team with a variety of marketing tasks, including graphic design, tradeshow planning, content creation, market research, and competitive analysis, directly contributing to brand awareness and key industry event support.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Assist the marketing team with diverse tasks to support major industry events and build brand awareness for the Trackman brand, contributing to key projects across the agriculture and defense industries.
• Tech Stack: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Graphic Design: Design and create artwork for digital and print use, including social media graphics, advertisements, tradeshow signage, flyers, promotional giveaways, and internal materials.
• Event Support: Assist with preparations for major tradeshows such as the Farm Progress Show, AUSA, Global Polymer Summit, and GVSETS.
• Content Creation: Create and prepare social media content to engage and inform audiences, and help produce and distribute the company newsletter.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify trends, positioning, and potential customers for commercial products, contributing to the development of the Trackman Sales Manual and product reference guide.
• Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and visual themes for campaigns and promotions.
• Project Administration: Support project management efforts by reviewing action items, updating trackers, ensuring deadlines are met, managing event registrations, and assisting with event-related messaging and marketing materials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, coupled with one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A High School Diploma or GED is required. This is an entry-level position focused on marketing.
• Experience: Candidates should possess one to two years of experience in creating visual and written content for social media, digital, and print materials. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva for graphic design and content creation is essential.
• Skills: Strong creative skills for visual and written content creation, excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms, and the ability to conduct market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
• Bonus: A team player with the ability to collaborate across departments, self-motivated, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possessing a strong interest in developing marketing skills, along with the ability to think creatively and contribute ideas to campaigns, promotions, and event-related marketing efforts.
