What You’ll Actually Do
• Review: Evaluate marketing communications and digital materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Guide: Provide essential guidance on marketing and advertising regulatory requirements to various marketing product teams.
• Collaborate: Interface and work closely with Legal and compliance partners to align on regulatory interpretations and applications.
• Participate: Engage in transformation initiatives aimed at automating and simplifying processes within the compliance framework.
• Maintain: Adhere to and uphold strong controls as part of the first line of defense, ensuring operational integrity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, coupled with 1-3 years of professional experience in advertising controls, regulatory compliance, risk, or audit.
• Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience within a highly regulated industry, demonstrating an understanding of advertising and marketing practices across various channels.
• Skills: Knowledge of consumer-focused regulations relevant to marketing and digital media channels; strong organizational and time management skills; effective verbal and written communication skills; sound judgment for risk-based decision making; and a collaborative approach for relationship-building.
• Bonus: Experience drafting procedures and training documents; bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
