Marketing & Community Intern | ShareWell

The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at ShareWell, located remotely in the United States. ShareWell is an early-stage startup building one of the fastest-growing online communities for peer support groups, with a mission to make peer support accessible to everyone. This role is crucial for amplifying ShareWell’s mission by creating engaging content and fostering meaningful online communities, ensuring no one navigates difficult experiences alone. As an early team member, you will gain hands-on experience directly contributing to a mission-driven company’s growth and impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Create engaging content for social media, email, blogs, and other marketing channels.
• Storytelling: Help tell authentic member stories that highlight ShareWell’s impact.
• Community Engagement: Support social media planning, scheduling, and community engagement.
• Marketing Campaigns: Assist with marketing campaigns and awareness initiatives, writing compelling copy for various materials.
• Member Support: Help manage support tickets, responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring members have a positive, supportive experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a student in university or graduate school, ready to apply academic knowledge in a real-world startup environment.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. However, experience creating content for social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn, or managing a club, student organization, newsletter, or online community would be beneficial.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling narratives, proficient graphic design skills with a strong eye for detail, and a creative mind for compelling content and impactful storytelling. The ability to be a self-starter who takes initiative in a dynamic environment is also essential.
• Bonus: Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite; prior experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT to assist with content creation; or a demonstrated passion for startups, marketing, community building, or mental health.
