What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Understanding: Collaborate with General Management, Department Managers, and Store Team Members to develop a comprehensive understanding of Menards’ retail business operations and principles.
• Management Experience: Actively participate in a paid, hands-on training program to gain practical management experience within the dynamic retail environment.
• Organizational Skills: Engage in structured activities and daily responsibilities to cultivate and strengthen effective organizational abilities throughout the 12-week program.
• Communication Skills: Practice and refine clear and effective communication skills through interactions with team members and customers in a real-world setting.
• Time Management: Develop and implement stronger time management strategies to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities within a busy retail schedule.
