Consulting Analyst – State & Local Government – Campus 2027 | Guidehouse

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Serve state, county, city, non-profit, and multi-lateral clients on a variety of engagements.
• Solution Development: Analyze business and technology challenges to design and implement high-impact solutions.
• Strategic Contribution: Support efforts in economic development, sustainability, disaster recovery, and organizational strategy.
• Operational Improvement: Conduct operational analysis, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
• Program Delivery: Contribute to technology implementation, risk management, and program management activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Undergraduate Degree; must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027.
• Experience: Minimum 0 years of professional experience; applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country, as no current or future sponsorship is available.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for improving state and local government; core management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, and stakeholder management.
• Bonus: Preferred degrees in business, public policy, urban planning, economics, engineering, math, computer science, or environmental science/studies; thorough knowledge of state and local government facets like sustainability, education, or justice.
