Managed Lending Partner Success Intern | Kiva

The Tone:
This is a 6-month, part-time, remote volunteer internship at Kiva, located in the United States. Kiva is a global nonprofit founded in 2005, expanding financial access and helping underserved communities thrive by unlocking capital through crowdfunded loans. This role is crucial for improving Kiva’s internal documentation and partner-facing resources, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the Managed Lending team and strengthening the experience for Kiva’s institutional partners who deploy capital at scale.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Improve Kiva’s internal documentation and partner-facing resources to enhance efficiency and partner experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation Lead: Lead the audit, organization, and standardization of internal documentation to improve clarity and accessibility across the team.
• Process Documentation: Document key operational processes, systems, and workflows by capturing how things actually operate.
• Resource Improvement: Contribute to improving partner-facing resources by auditing existing materials and identifying gaps.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Creative, to update and refine partner-facing materials.
• System Design: Scope and design an internal partnership library or AI agent.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or early career professional able to commit to the full 6-month volunteer term.
• Experience: Aptitude for working in a start-up environment, gaining hands-on experience in documentation, content development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking with an eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication, highly proactive and able to work independently, and intermediate skills in Google Docs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: At least 21 years of age or older by July 14th, 2026.
