Kaizen Summer Sales Intern | Kaizen
The Tone:
This is a seasonal, in-person internship at Kaizen. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in business development and sales, focusing on outside sales, territory management, and customer engagement. As an intern, you will contribute directly to driving company growth by generating leads, demonstrating services, and managing strategic accounts. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Identify potential clients and cultivate strong relationships through cold calling and direct outreach as part of outside sales activities.
• Market Analysis: Assist in managing territory sales by analyzing market trends and formulating strategies to broaden the customer base.
• Product Presentation: Conduct service demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, and upsell solutions tailored to meet specific client needs.
• Lead Management: Support lead generation efforts by utilizing CRM software to track prospects and manage follow-up activities.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with management on business development initiatives to discover new opportunities and enhance sales processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or related program.
• Experience: Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and understanding sales cycles.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, strong rapport-building capabilities with clients, familiarity with CRM software, and robust analysis skills to interpret conversations and guide client interactions.
• Bonus: Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management.
