What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Outreach: Actively engage in outside sales by identifying potential clients, initiating contact through cold calling, and conducting direct outreach to build strong, foundational relationships.
• Territory Management: Contribute to managing sales territories by analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and developing strategic approaches to expand the existing customer base effectively.
• Service Presentation: Conduct informative service demonstrations to clearly showcase product features and explain their benefits, strategically upselling additional solutions that align with specific client requirements.
• Lead Management: Support lead generation efforts by meticulously using CRM software to track prospective clients, manage communication records, and ensure timely follow-up activities.
• Business Collaboration: Work collaboratively with management on business development initiatives, assisting in the identification of new market opportunities and contributing to the continuous improvement of sales processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold current enrollment in or be a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or a closely related academic program. Candidates should demonstrate a strong and clear interest in pursuing a career path within sales, marketing, or management.
• Experience: Possess demonstrated enthusiasm and a foundational understanding of outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) transactions, and the complete sales cycle. No prior experience is strictly required, but a keen interest is essential.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to negotiate effectively and build strong rapport with diverse clients. Demonstrate familiarity with CRM software for tracking and managing client interactions. Possess strong analytical skills to interpret client conversations and strategically guide them through the sales process. Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while consistently paying attention to detail.
• Bonus: Previous experience in areas such as retail sales, cold calling, or account management is considered a valuable asset, though not a mandatory prerequisite for the role.
