Junior Primavera P6 Scheduler | CMC Project Solutions, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time (W2 Employee) role with CMC Project Solutions, Inc., located onsite in the Los Angeles, California area. CMC Project Solutions connects project controls professionals with significant capital projects across the nation. This role is crucial for supporting the successful delivery of large-scale entertainment and hospitality construction projects at a major theme park. You will play a key part in ensuring project schedules are accurately developed, maintained, and updated to facilitate project success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop schedules: Assist in creating, managing, and updating Primavera P6 project schedules under senior guidance.
• Analyze performance: Support critical path and schedule performance analysis to identify key project drivers.
• Manage risks: Help identify potential schedule risks and contribute to discussions for their mitigation.
• Report progress: Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, and supporting documentation for project leadership.
• Coordinate stakeholders: Liaise with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as directed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a foundational understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Experience: Basic to intermediate proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6, gained through coursework, internships, or 1–3 years of hands-on experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational capabilities, with an ability to work effectively in a collaborative project environment.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to construction scheduling (especially theme park, hospitality, commercial, or infrastructure projects), experience supporting multi-disciplinary construction teams, a degree or relevant coursework in construction management, engineering, or project controls, or internship experience with a general contractor or project controls firm.
