The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ovation Fertility, located in Fort Worth, Texas. Ovation Fertility helps build families through assisted reproductive technology. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
• Location: Fort Worth, TX (In-person)

• Mission: This person performs essential embryology and andrology laboratory procedures to support IVF cycles and ART treatment, ensuring precision and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• IVF Cycle Procedures: Perform all required embryology laboratory procedures for IVF cycles, including medium and dish preparation, egg retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization checks, embryo evaluation, cryopreservation, thawing, transfer, ICSI, and assisted hatching.
• Micromanipulation & Biopsy: Execute specialized daily embryology tasks such as ICSI-IVF, embryo transfers, cryopreservation, and testicular biopsy preparations, with a preferred experience in trophectoderm biopsy.
• Andrology Services: Provide comprehensive andrology services, encompassing the preparation of semen samples for artificial inseminations and IVF, sperm cryopreservation, and complete sperm analysis assessed by World Health Organization (WHO) standards.
• Data Management & Communication: Manage meticulous data entry into computer databases, maintain detailed patient logs and laboratory reports, and communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, and regulatory bodies, coordinating daily procedure scheduling with nurses and outcomes with physicians.
• Quality Assurance & Research Support: Implement laboratory quality control (QC), quality assessment (QA), and preventative maintenance, support CAP inspection preparedness and SART record-keeping, and actively participate in the development and coordination of clinical research projects, including data analysis and manuscript preparation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related field required; early career.
• Experience: 1+ years of related laboratory experience, with a preference for trophectoderm biopsy experience.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of reproductive biology (male and female reproductive systems); excellent clinical skills with diligent aseptic techniques; competence in the correct assessment and grading of oocyte, embryo, and sperm morphology; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; keen attention to detail; strong organizational skills for meticulous clerical tasks and data entry.
• Bonus: Experience with Artisan and Matcher software; good research skills and a desire to obtain additional competency certification by the American Board of Bioanalysis and participate in continuing technical improvement.
