Junior Credit Risk Analyst | Yoh

The analyst will translate complex data into actionable insights to inform credit risk decisions.

• Mission: This role is responsible for producing insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics to support credit risk monitoring, strategy evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
• Tech Stack: SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc credit risk reports and dashboards to provide insights for monitoring and strategy.
• Analysis: Conduct in-depth credit risk analysis across the entire credit lifecycle, interpreting complex data to identify trends and potential risks.
• Monitoring: Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to detect and highlight emerging trends relevant to credit risk profiles.
• Automation: Streamline and automate existing reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data delivery.
• Documentation & Support: Document all reporting methodologies, maintain data dictionaries and process guides, and support regulatory and audit reporting requirements with accurate and timely data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical field such as Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, or Engineering, coupled with a foundational understanding of credit risk concepts.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in analytical roles, demonstrating a proven ability to work with data to derive insights.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in data manipulation and querying using SQL or Python (skills that will be assessed during interviews). Practical experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI is required. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and possess strong problem-solving capabilities focused on data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, and presentation of results.
