Financial Analyst / Finance Clerk | Randstad USA

This Financial Analyst / Finance Clerk position is critical for maintaining accurate financial records, tracking expenditures, and providing essential data for P&L reviews, directly contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the regional operations.

The TL;DR
• Role: Contract / Early Career
• Location: In-person, Wayne, PA
• Pay: $25 hourly
• Mission: To support regional finance operations by assisting with P&L review, tracking vendor spending, and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel), Oracle software packages

What You’ll Actually Do
• GL & Expense Verification: Review and verify accurate General Ledger (GL) coding for sales and expenses, performing monthly reconciliations of non-inventory purchasing statements.
• Cost Tracking & Vendor Audit: Track and analyze procurement pricing, vendor fees (such as hazmat, fuel surcharges, and freight), and spend volumes across regional locations to help identify cost-saving opportunities.
• P&L & Variance Support: Assist in gathering data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, help investigate P&L variances, and update regional forecast files.
• Pricing & Data Maintenance: Maintain customer value and profitability files, tracking purchasing trends, freight/rental line items, and cylinder turn times to support sales and management with pricing updates.
• Reporting & Compliance: Generate routine financial reports, conduct facility safety/compliance audits, and actively support corporate administrative initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of financial analysis, bookkeeping, or finance clerk experience.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with personal computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel) and Oracle software packages, high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bonus: CPA certification or familiarity with corporate sales and administrative procedures.
