Junior Analyst | SBA Communications
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SBA Communications, a publicly traded global leader in the wireless industry and an S&P 500 company. SBA Communications builds the critical infrastructure that connects millions, with a network of over 46,000 communication sites spanning 10+ countries. The Junior Analyst role is an entry-level professional position within a culture defined by a “Team First” focus and agility. This role is crucial for developing business, financial, operational, and reporting skills, providing analytical and administrative support to assigned departments by gathering, organizing, analyzing, and validating data, ultimately helping to identify trends and resolve issues that support core business initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data from multiple systems and sources to identify trends and support business initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, presentations, and analyses, communicating findings and recommendations to management and business partners.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, assisting in critical departmental activities like budgeting and forecasting.
• Operational Support: Provide analytical and administrative support for day-to-day activities and projects, including validating data accuracy and performing quality control reviews.
• Process Improvement & Documentation: Support process improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to increase efficiency, and develop and maintain necessary reports, procedures, and documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. This is an entry-level professional position.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant professional experience, or relevant internships, co-op experience, or related coursework.
• Skills: Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to collect, interpret, and summarize data, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with reporting tools, ERP systems, HRIS systems, financial systems, or business applications.
