Description:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT within the dynamic environment of Hermès Americas. As an IT Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of the New York corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Equipment Setup & Configuration:
• Assist in physically placing computers, monitors, and peripherals at user workstations according to floor plans.
• Configure laptops for users, ensuring necessary software and applications are installed and functional.
Network & User Management:
• Set up users on network systems, including account creation, permission assignments, and access management.
• Map printers to workstations, guaranteeing connectivity and functionality.
Software & Firmware Updates:
• Update software and firmware on all devices to maintain security and compliance standards.
User Support & Training:
• Provide user training and support for IT-related tasks and systems.
• Set up email accounts and configure computer profiles with personalized settings.
Office IT Coordination:
• Coordinate and schedule IT-related office activities, such as equipment deliveries, installations, and testing.
Troubleshooting & Documentation:
• Troubleshoot technical issues and challenges encountered during projects, escalating as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT tasks, configurations, and user setups.
Cross-Collaboration:
• Engage with various IT partners to gain exposure to different facets of IT.

Required Currently pursuings:

• Enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree program, ideally in a field related to IT.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to contribute.
