What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Support: Provide essential Tier 1 technical support for employee workstations, account access issues, peripherals, printers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and questions regarding Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Helpdesk Management: Accurately triage incoming helpdesk tickets, meticulously gather all relevant details, thoroughly document troubleshooting steps taken, and appropriately escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff.
• Office Readiness: Actively assist with employee desk setups, including the configuration of monitors, docking stations, and other peripherals, perform routine conference room checks, and ensure general office IT readiness.
• Asset Management: Support comprehensive IT asset management by diligently labeling, organizing, auditing, and updating inventory records for all company laptops, monitors, docks, accessories, and related equipment.
• Workflow Support: Assist with preparation for both employee onboarding and offboarding processes, which includes staging new equipment, preparing office desks, collecting returned hardware, and updating associated checklists under direct supervision.
• IT Operations: Contribute to broader IT operations initiatives, such as conducting hardware audits, maintaining equipment organization, tracking software rollouts, and assisting with process improvements and cleanup.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience: Basic familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, a helpful and professional attitude, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, ask questions, document work, and follow established procedures.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of networking, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), SaaS applications, computer hardware, or endpoint management. Prior customer service, helpdesk, campus IT, retail tech, or troubleshooting experience.
