Investments Rotational Program Analyst | FM

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at FM, located in Boston, MA. • Team: FM Investment Management (FMIM) is responsible for the investment and professional management of over twenty-five billion dollars in general account assets.
• Mission: Develop broad and rigorous early-career experience in institutional investing within a dedicated investment team.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Research markets and investment strategies to develop actionable insights for the team.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market and industry research, covering current and developing sector trends.
• Investment Support: Support the sourcing, analysis, due diligence, and onboarding processes for investment strategies.
• Performance Analytics: Develop analytics to monitor investment performance and conduct portfolio and risk analytics.
• Operational Support: Provide operational, compliance, reconciliation, documentation, and reporting support with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to economics, investments, accounting, finance, data science, quantitative methods, or statistics.
• Experience: At least one year of institutional investment management or related work experience, with relevant internships considered.
• Skills: Exceptional research and analytical abilities; Strong quantitative skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; Clear communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.
• Bonus: Progress towards CFA or CAIA certification; Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar analytical platforms.
