The Tone:

This Vice President position is crucial for executing complex M&A and capital markets transactions within the Healthcare sector, contributing to the firm’s extensive global platform. The role involves supporting live deals, applying advanced financial analyses, and leading collaborative team efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute: Support the execution of live transactions for the Healthcare coverage team, including the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations.
• Analyze: Apply financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to evaluate and execute acquisitions, financings, and equity raising transactions.
• Model: Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models to support transaction execution.
• Liaise: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as necessary to facilitate transactions.
• Lead: Foster a positive, effective team-based work environment by taking initiative and assuming responsibility within a cross-collaborative setting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, with core domain knowledge in providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions in the Healthcare sector.
• Experience: Experience providing quantitative and analytical support for various M&A and capital markets transactions, including IPOs, equity follow-ons, investment grade, and leveraged finance debt offerings within the Healthcare sector.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, leadership capacity to take initiative and assume responsibility.
• Bonus: Advanced degree preferred, Series 79 and 63 licensing preferred, experience performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies, and performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches.
