The Tone:
This is an internship at Fountain Mortgage, located in Prairie Village, KS. Fountain Mortgage is an independent mortgage company focused on building strong relationships with clients, real estate partners, and team members while closing loans. They have an in-house marketing division, The Agency, dedicated to supporting loan officers and their referral partners with professional marketing. This role matters because it offers an intern real responsibility in developing a key resource and contributing to vital marketing efforts that drive growth and connection within the competitive real estate market.

• Team: Reports to Marketing Coordinator, within Marketing & Business Development
• Mission: Conceive, develop, design, and launch The Open House Suite, a turnkey resource kit, and contribute to various marketing productions to support client and partner relationships.
• Tech Stack: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, CapCut or comparable short-form video editing tools, Facebook, Instagram, FloDesk, Mailchimp, copywriting and basic SEO concepts, CRM or project management tools.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Keystone Project Development: Conceive, develop, design, and launch The Open House Suite, a comprehensive resource kit for real estate agents, including templated flyers, social sequences, and checklists.
• Event Support & Coordination: Assist marketing leadership with the planning and execution of the Annual Rooftop Agent Appreciation event, including promotional materials, agent communications, and event-day logistics.
• Social Media Content Production: Create, design, and caption two original social posts and one story per week for Fountain Mortgage’s social channels, targeting homebuyers, homeowners, and real estate professionals.
• Client Gift Program Ownership: Manage the production side of client closing gifts, which involves supply inventory, gift design, assembly, loan officer communication, and shipping coordination.
• Marketing Collateral Development: Produce polished, on-brand open house flyers, broker open promotions, and single property sites, while also contributing to blog posts, email drafts, and seasonal pop-by programs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior or senior standing preferred, studying marketing, communications, advertising, or design.
• Experience: Design ability in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva; exposure to short-form video editing (CapCut or comparable); experience with social media content creation for Facebook & Instagram; familiarity with email marketing platforms (FloDesk, Mailchimp, or similar); copywriting and basic SEO concepts.
• Skills: Clear writing, visual thinking, attention to detail, comfort with juggling multiple tasks, and honesty in seeking help when needed.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM or project management tools.
