Nonprofit Internship | Kindfulness
The Tone:
Kindfulness empowers vulnerable populations through programs like smart vending machines, mobile outreach, and mind-body interventions. This role supports community involvement and program development, directly contributing to overcoming barriers to essential resources for those facing unhousing, trafficking, reentry, sexuality and gender-related stressors, and military veteran challenges.

• Mission: Support Kindfulness’ mission to empower core populations by securing resources, delivering services, and optimizing program effectiveness.
• Tech Stack: Spreadsheets, tools evaluation, Monday, mobile apps, Google Drive, Slack, Oasis Box, Service Navigation, Digital Vault
What You’ll Actually Do
• Funding: Secure resources through grant writing and fundraising efforts.
• Direct Services: Provide trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive services to core communities.
• Partnerships: Network and coordinate collaboration with partner organizations to optimize collective cost-effectiveness.
• Program Development: Take self-directed control over projects, strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in or completion of a post-secondary program, such as a vocational, associate, or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: A commitment of at least 6 months, with a preference for lived experience in constituent communities.
• Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
