What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide: Deliver high quality transactional support to business areas with a keen focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
• Develop: Foster effective partnerships and collaborate effectively with various internal areas as required.
• Operate: Function as a team player by backing up peers, constructively addressing conflict, and participating in feedback exchange.
• Adhere: Strictly follow all privacy guidelines in the execution of tasks and responsibilities.
• Complete: Finish assigned work items in a timely manner, ensuring high quality service to business partners.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires enrollment and active class participation in an accredited 4-year college degree program or an MBA program. Interns will engage in general business functions such as operations, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience: Candidates must commit to a minimum of 9 months in the internship program, with consistent availability to work at least 15 hours per week during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm). The ability to work up to 40 hours per week during school vacations and breaks, based on business needs, is also required.
• Skills: Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 in their major or an overall GPA of 3.0. Essential skills include proficiency in MS Word and Excel software applications, solid critical thinking and analytical capabilities, and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and function effectively in a high production, deadline-driven environment. Strong independent work habits, self-direction for project and task-based work, solid oral and written communication skills, and a strong customer service focus are also crucial for success.
• Bonus: Satisfactory completion of 2 years of college coursework is preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate an openness to mastering new tasks and work processes, and be comfortable in a culture that emphasizes coaching, ongoing feedback, and career development. Flexibility in schedule to meet customer expectations is also a plus.
