What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Support: Participate in a mission-driven culture that emphasizes high-quality performance with a member-focused approach to customer service, consistency, dignity, and accountability.
• Project Management: Manage department-assigned projects with a moderate degree of independence, ensuring deadlines are met and sub-tasks are completed efficiently.
• Collaboration: Assist the accounting team in carrying out departmental responsibilities and collaborate with colleagues to support short-term and long-term goals.
• Reporting & Communication: Participate in regular meetings with supervisors to review the status and progress of assignments, ensuring clear communication.
• General Accounting: Provide general accounting and administrative support for various specialties, including accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent, plus current enrollment in a college, university two- or four-year degree program, an accredited vocational institution, or a graduate program.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required for this role.
• Skills: Ability to develop rapport and maintain effective working relationships, work independently and exercise sound judgment, communicate clearly and concisely (both orally and in writing), organize, be analytical, problem-solve, possess project management skills, and utilize computer software effectively.
• Bonus: Completed at least one college-level accounting course.
