• Team: Multidisciplinary team collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers in the Plano Buildings practice.
• Mission: To assist with various aspects of the interior design process, from conceptual development to documentation, contributing to innovative and integrated solutions.
• Tech Stack: Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, InDesign

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Development Support: Assist with the design process, 3D development, and the creation of conceptual models, diagrams, and studies to advance ideas in space planning, lighting, material selection, and furniture design.
• Documentation & Presentation: Support the project team in developing interior design documentation and producing presentation materials for client and internal presentations.
• BIM Integration: Incorporate designs into Revit and utilize BIM technologies to create three-dimensional models of interiors and their components for construction documents.
• Material & Research Management: Select and order finishes, assist in organizing meetings, conduct basic interpretations of project sketches, codes, and programs, and research concepts, benchmarks, and precedents.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards an Interior Design degree from a CIDA-accredited institution, specifically in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree or enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with Revit is required.
• Skills: Excellent design, modeling, organizational, and communication skills essential for interacting within multidisciplinary teams; creativity, curiosity, and motivation to generate and advance design ideas.
• Bonus: Preferred experience includes Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign. Submission of work samples is mandatory for application consideration.
