Architecture and Interior Design Internship | Bitarchitects
The Tone:
This is a virtual internship at Bitarchitects, an international firm launching the 11th edition of its Summer 2026 program. Bitarchitects offers a unique opportunity for emerging architects and designers to join a dynamic, global team. This role is crucial for gaining hands-on professional experience and developing a comprehensive understanding of architecture and interior design practices, particularly within U.S. standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Oversee architecture and interior design projects from initial concept development through to final completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to U.S. safety standards, planning regulations, and architectural codes throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Design and Documentation: Draft detailed as-built and proposed architectural plans from scratch, and actively participate in the interior furnishing and design elements of these plans.
• Visual Communication: Develop compelling project videos to effectively showcase proposed designs for client presentations and internal reviews.
• Research and Reporting: Conduct thorough research on project feasibility, environmental impact, and U.S. construction types and materials, compiling comprehensive reports to guide design decisions and ensure material efficiency.
• Professional Development: Enhance personal and professional skills, particularly in client interactions, through active participation in meetings and project discussions, while utilizing timesheets for efficient task and time management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Architecture or Interior Design. This program is exclusively designed for senior students or recent graduates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in these fields.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage design projects, understand and apply U.S. architectural codes and work environment standards, and draft detailed architectural plans (both as-built and proposed).
• Skills: Proficiency in architectural design principles, interior furnishing, regulatory compliance (US planning & safety), visual content creation (video), research, reporting, and effective time management.
