New Construction Installer Helper | Tindell’s Building Materials

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Tindell’s Building Materials, located within the East Tennessee area. What You’ll Actually Do
• Installation Support: Provide crucial, hands-on assistance in the installation of diverse new construction components, specifically including doors and windows, thereby playing a direct role in the efficient progression of building projects and upholding high standards of construction quality.
• Quality Assurance: Diligently ensure that all installation procedures strictly adhere to the specific guidelines and comprehensive standards set forth by product manufacturers, thereby upholding Tindell’s unwavering commitment to product integrity, reliability, and long-term performance in every constructed space.
• Compliance Knowledge: Continuously maintain and proactively update personal knowledge regarding all applicable Building Codes that are relevant to current installation practices, guaranteeing that every aspect of work is performed in strict accordance with legal, safety, and prevailing industry requirements.
• Customer Relations: Actively foster and cultivate positive, lasting relationships with valued customers by consistently providing excellent service, demonstrating professionalism, and maintaining clear, respectful communication throughout the entire installation process.
• Workplace Upkeep: Consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment, strictly adhering to Tindell’s established safety protocols and administrative policies to support a productive, secure, and efficient workplace for all team members and operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a general foundational understanding of product installation principles and established practices relevant to new construction materials, preparing for hands-on learning and application in the role.
• Experience: Demonstrate practical, hands-on experience in effectively utilizing a variety of basic hand tools commonly employed for construction and installation tasks, ensuring immediate contribution to the team.
• Skills: Exhibit the essential capability to accurately read and precisely interpret measurements using a tape measure, a fundamental skill for all installation work. Furthermore, consistently display a hard-working ethic, a collaborative team player mindset, and a consistently positive attitude in all work interactions and environments.
