About The Role: I&C Engineering Project Management Intern
As an I&C Engineering Project Management Intern, you will gain invaluable experience working across critical functions including engineering, contract management, and project management. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that support Westinghouse’s mission.
Location & Schedule:
- Location: Cranberry facility (Global Headquarters), PA
- Reporting To: Asia Operations Project Management team
- Position Type: Paid, Full-time Hybrid position for the summer
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid remote/in-office role
Key Responsibilities:
As an I&C Engineering Project Management Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with project management and engineering teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of contract deliverables.
- Verifying that engineering and overall project deliverables consistently meet contractual requirements.
- Assisting project managers with their daily activities across various domains, including engineering, supplier management, manufacturing, and contract management.
- Helping to update and maintain project management support tools.
- Supporting communications with our project and engineering teams in Asia, ensuring that deliverables are progressing as planned.
- Gaining hands-on experience and working with industry-standard project management tools such as Primavera P6, SAP, and ARM (Active Risk Management).
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must have successfully completed Sophomore year of college.
Compensation:
We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The estimated hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is:
- $22.69 to $27.50 per hour
