Human Resources Internship – Head of HR & Project Management | Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (Charleston, SC)
The Tone:
This is an internship at Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC, located in Charleston, SC. Mercedes-Benz Vans manufactures Sprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian markets, including the new eSprinter. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of mobility by supporting the Head of HR and the HR Management Team. The intern will gain practical experience in process improvement, HR project management, and implementation, making a valuable contribution to the organization.

• Mission: Provide support to the Head of HR and HR Management Team with a wide range of projects related to HR programs, including HR project management, HR administration, data entry, and data audits.

What You’ll Actually Do
• HR Support: Provide coordination and operational support across various functional areas of Human Resources.
• Data Collection & Research: Assist in gathering internal and external information for reports and statistical research, with a key focus on the onboarding process and setup.
• Project Management: Support the planning, organization, execution, and communication for HR Harmonization projects.
• Documentation & Communication: Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations, and process paperwork according to established procedures.
• Confidential Record Keeping: Perform administrative duties to maintain records, upholding the utmost confidentiality for all sensitive information.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate (within the past 12 months) or junior/senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Communication, or a comparable field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 semesters of studies completed in a relevant field. Must be available for a minimum of 6 months, with a preference for up to 11 months.
• Skills: Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe; strong written and oral communication skills; proactivity and ability to work independently; strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Bonus: Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree; preferred start date of January 2026; proficient working in a multi-cultural environment; desire for continuous development and learning opportunities.
