What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and maintain comprehensive data within the Human Resources database, ensuring all information is current, confidential, and readily accessible to support critical team operations and decision-making processes.
• Policy Communication: Skillfully compose clear, competent, and professional memos to employees, ensuring effective and timely communication of important policy and procedural changes across the organization.
• Policy Development Support: Actively assist in the construction, review, and continuous improvement of company policies and procedures, contributing foundational support to the HR department’s structural and operational frameworks.
• Recruitment Activities: Proactively review resumes within the online database to identify, screen, and recruit qualified individuals for a variety of specific open positions, thereby directly supporting the company’s talent acquisition goals.
• Administrative Assistance: Efficiently maintain applications and applicant flow logs in strict accordance with standard company procedures, handle general administrative tasks such as filing documents and answering phone calls, and provide essential support on various special projects as assigned by the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A recent graduate who has successfully completed a Human Resources Management program or possesses an equivalent educational background demonstrating core domain knowledge in HR principles and practices.
• Experience: Proven practical knowledge and proficiency in using key Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, for data management, presentations, and communication tasks.
• Skills: Possesses exceptional oral, written, and interactive communication skills crucial for internal and external interactions; skilled in applying effective research tactics coupled with strong organizational abilities to manage tasks and information; demonstrates a high ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality with sensitive information; and is capable of conveying a consistently positive and professional image to both internal colleagues and external customers.
• Bonus: A working knowledge of local employment and regulatory laws applicable to human resources practices, which would be a preferred asset for this role.
