HR Technical Recruiting Internship

  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Type: Unpaid Internship
  • Schedule: 15–20 hours per week, Part-time (flexible hours)
  • Duration: 6 months

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Recruiting Intern to play a crucial role in supporting our hiring initiatives across a diverse spectrum of technical and specialized positions. This includes, but is not limited to, tech professionals, digital marketing experts, industry evangelists, software engineers, UX/UI designers, data analysts and data scientists, AI and machine learning experts, cybersecurity specialists, web3 and blockchain engineers, and other technical talent as needed.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Technical Recruiting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the full recruiting lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Source, identify, and proactively engage candidates across a broad range of technical roles.
  • Initial Screening: Conduct initial phone or video calls to assess candidate interest, availability, and overall fit for various positions.
  • Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews directly with the CEO for qualified candidates.
  • Information Collection: Collect essential candidate information, including rate expectations and Right-to-Represent (RTR) confirmations, via email.
  • Candidate Profile Preparation: Prepare clear, well-organized, and polished candidate profiles for submission to clients and potential clients.
  • Record Keeping & Follow-ups: Maintain accurate records of all candidate communications, submissions, and follow-ups throughout the recruiting process.
  • Professional Communication: Communicate professionally and consistently with candidates at every stage of the recruitment journey.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort speaking professionally with technical professionals and executives.
  • Organization & Detail: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through capabilities.
  • Professionalism: Professional email and phone etiquette, coupled with basic business communication skills.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Interest: A genuine interest in recruiting, technology, or startup environments.
  • Reliability: Reliable, responsive, and able to manage follow-ups independently.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Some exposure to recruiting or staffing processes.
  • Familiarity with various technical roles and their associated terminology.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Previous use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with technical professionals and executives.
  • Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Autonomy: Reliable, responsive, and able to manage follow-ups independently.
  • Etiquette: Professional email etiquette and basic business communication skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
