• Mission: This person is responsible for managing all aspects of candidate applications, from initial submission review to first interviews, delivering necessary forms, and facilitating clear communication between applicants and internal management to maintain a consistent and transparent hiring flow.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Job Posting Management: Maintain active job postings on LinkedIn to ensure a continuous stream of applicants for various roles within SexSymbol.
• Application Processing & Review: Systematically review all incoming applicant submissions, including checking Google Form submissions for completeness, and delivering necessary forms to potential candidates.
• Candidate Communication & Coordination: Manage comprehensive communication with candidates, guiding them through the hiring process up to their first interview, and coordinating all interview scheduling logistics.
• Internal Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate clear and consistent internal communications with the management team, providing updates on candidate progress and bridging discussions between applicants and internal teams.
• Data Management & Tracking: Accurately maintain hiring trackers and records, ensuring all candidate data and submission statuses are up-to-date and easily accessible for internal review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level individual seeking an unpaid internship, demonstrating a strong enthusiasm for operational efficiency and a desire to gain hands-on experience in human resources or recruitment coordination within a growing media company. No specific educational background is mandated, but a foundational understanding of organizational principles is beneficial.
• Experience: No specific prior years of experience are required for this unpaid internship. Candidates should be comfortable with and capable of managing repetitive tasks effectively and adept at handling extensive amounts of information accurately and systematically.
• Skills: Possesses exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple candidate pipelines and administrative tasks efficiently. Demonstrates strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a professional tone suitable for candidate and internal correspondence. Exhibits a meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record-keeping, form delivery, and application review.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to or experience in startup environments where adaptability is key. Experience in administrative coordination roles or tasks involving scheduling and data management. Familiarity with recruitment processes or prior use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) would be advantageous.
