Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis | Netrality Data Centers

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Netrality Data Centers, located in Kansas City, MO. Netrality is a growing private-equity backed owner-operator of strategic interconnection properties, managing eighteen premier data centers across six metropolitan markets. The company acquires and develops data center space to offer high-quality, robust network interconnections. This new position is crucial for supporting the company’s continued growth by establishing efficiencies and best practices within the financial planning and analysis function.

• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel, MRI/general accounting systems (a plus), database querying (a plus).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting & Planning: Support the company-wide financial planning, analysis, and annual budgeting process.
• Performance Analysis: Assist with monthly analytical and performance reviews across various business units.
• KPI Management: Maintain appropriate Key Performance Indicators to enhance performance measurement.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Provide ad-hoc analytical support for various business needs and inquiries.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate analytical insights and solutions to management and business units regularly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, coupled with general accounting knowledge, including financial statement construction, debits/credits, and the ability to design and execute processes and reports.
• Experience: 1-3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience within a diverse organization, with knowledge of variance analysis and budgeting.
• Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical aptitude (finance, accounting, math), and excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Experience in a real estate background, familiarity with recurring revenue streams, and experience with MRI/general accounting systems or database querying are preferred.
