What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Service: Deliver professional and friendly customer service to cafeteria patrons, adhering to food safety and portion guidelines.
• Prepare Workspaces: Ensure your work area is properly set up, with all supplies and products organized before, during, and after shifts.
• Maintain Hygiene: Diligently clean and sanitize your workstation and utensils throughout your shift.
• Handle Equipment: Use all food service equipment and materials correctly and safely.
• Assemble Meals: Accurately assemble meals for patients, staff, and visitors according to the menu, diet order, and established protocols.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: Requires less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment; no supervisor experience is necessary.
• Skills: Proficient in food preparation, accurate food portioning, serving, and maintaining high sanitation standards. Capable of assisting with various customer requests.
• Bonus: A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
