Finance & Accounting Analyst Intern | NAVER U.Hub
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship role at NAVER U.Hub, located in El Segundo, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement. NAVER U.Hub is the U.S. subsidiary of NAVER, a global internet technology company based in Los Angeles with offices in Seattle and Redwood City. Its teams across NAVER Search US, BAND, ThingsBook, and NAVER Ventures collaborate to advance AI, social media, and investment initiatives that build smarter and more connected experiences for global users. This position supports the financial operations of NAVER U.Hub and other U.S. entities, executing day-to-day accounting processes, supporting treasury and budgeting, and assisting with tax and compliance matters. It offers hands-on exposure to multi-entity operations and cross-border finance.

• Mission: This person will support the financial operations of NAVER U.Hub and other U.S. entities by executing daily accounting processes, aiding treasury and budgeting, and assisting with tax and compliance matters.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Closing: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, supporting the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Cash Management: Monitor bank accounts, assist with daily cash tracking, support fund transfers, and help with intercompany transactions and cash flow reporting.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, assist with variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, and prepare internal financial reports for management.
• Tax & Compliance: Support tax filings in coordination with external advisors, prepare required documentation for federal and state compliance, and assist with audit preparation.
• Operational Support: Support intercompany reconciliations with HQ and affiliates, assist with accounting and financial operations across multiple U.S entities, and contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. This is an internship / early career role for students.
• Experience: Prior internship experience or relevant accounting coursework is a plus, demonstrating a foundational understanding of financial operations.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tasks; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of US-GAAP and IFRS knowledge; CPA-track or coursework toward CPA eligibility; Korean language skills.
