What You’ll Actually Do
• Administer: Administer comprehensive post-award financial activities for a diverse portfolio of sponsored research projects, encompassing government grants, private agency grants, gifts, and internally-funded initiatives.
• Analyze: Prepare, validate, and meticulously analyze detailed financial information across one or more business units to support accurate financial reporting.
• Journalize: Generate and process monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries for various business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial record-keeping.
• Reconcile: Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger account balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Report: Assist in the thorough review and editing of crucial quarterly and annual financial statements, preparing them for presentation to Senior Management and bondholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in Finance or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
