What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Financial Risks: Monitor and analyze financial risks, then interpret data to prepare for the delivery of risk projects or reporting.
• Support Product Development: Contribute to researching, tracking, and testing the content and user interface of existing online products.
• Conduct Market Research: Perform in-depth research analysis into global markets, specifically focusing on debt listings, valuations, and shareholder/geographic analysis.
• Collaborate on Projects: Participate in and contribute to group projects that are directly aligned with LSEG’s overarching goals.
• Engage Global Clients: Work with clients across the globe, leveraging LSEG’s cutting-edge platforms to shape the future of financial markets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree. Career level: Associate. You must be a graduate having completed studies in 2026, or a final year undergraduate or Master’s student completing all qualification requirements before September 2027. Your studies should be in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline, or in Finance or Economics with a strong inclination towards FinTech or Technology.
• Experience: You should possess a demonstrable interest in financial markets, built through your academic studies, relevant work experience, or extracurricular activities. Ideal candidates must also have the rights to work in the US without restrictions for the duration of the permanent graduate programme.
• Skills: Competency with large data sets, including the ability to code in Python and SQL, or an understanding of tools like Tableau and Power BI. A strong curiosity for data, coupled with the ability to analyze information, draw clear conclusions, and propose effective solutions. Strategic thinking, enabling you to connect disparate information and understand the broader picture. Demonstrated focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt quickly to changing demands. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach for working effectively with others.
