Assistant Manager – Finance | Meragi
The Tone:

This role is crucial for a driven finance professional to contribute to the company’s financial efficiency, improve reporting processes, and support strategic business decisions as Meragi transforms the wedding ecosystem.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting & Operations: Manage accounting records, oversee book closure processes, and ensure all account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
• Compliance & Reporting: Handle monthly GST and TDS filings, manage ITC reconciliations, and prepare detailed MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial dashboards for leadership.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, identify risks, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and analyze financial KPIs to inform business opportunities.
• Business Finance Support: Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making, build and maintain financial models, and assist with process improvements and automation initiatives.
• External Liaison: Coordinate with auditors, accountants, and other external stakeholders for audits and compliance closures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Core domain knowledge in finance, accounting, audit, or business finance.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or business finance roles.
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, compliance, and reporting; proficiency in Tally, Excel, and financial reporting tools; strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; high ownership mindset.
• Bonus: CA / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) qualification; prior experience in a startup, CA firm, consulting, or high-growth environment.
