Finance Development Program Associate | UL Solutions

• Pay: $67000 yearly
• Team: Rotational program across various financial operations departments (financial planning and analysis, general accounting, treasury, tax, shared services, or operating businesses), guided by senior leaders and peer mentors.
• Mission: Contribute to the financial analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency across diverse finance functions to support global business objectives.
• Tech Stack: MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point), Business ERPs (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze financial performance to explain variances, develop business cases for investments, and assess the impact of changes to business processes.
• Participate actively in the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans across various organizational levels.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, including performing detailed account reconciliations.
• Work on projects aimed at improving efficiency, service levels, and lowering operational costs for shared service functions such as credit, billing, and accounts payable.
• Assist with daily cash management, account reconciliations, and support special projects related to cash management, investment management, and insurance within treasury.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Be completing your final year of an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related major, holding a Bachelor’s degree prior to the intended full-time start date. Must have the indefinite right to work in the United States.
• Experience: Possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting, gained through education or internship experience, and demonstrated ability to use MS Office suite applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information from diverse sources; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; an ambitious and highly motivated self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively within a results-oriented environment.
• Bonus: Experience working with business ERPs such as Oracle or NetSuite is a plus.
