• Mission: This role supports the organization’s accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance, while contributing to financial success.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Operations: Maintain and update accounting records and general ledger entries, processing financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Financial Reporting: Analyze budgets and financial data to support business decision-making, preparing expense reports and financial summaries.
• Month-End Close: Perform bank and account reconciliations, preparing journal entries to support timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Audit & Compliance: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, assisting with regulatory compliance and tax filings.
• Collaborative Support: Work closely with the CFO and finance leadership on accounting initiatives, contributing to process improvement and professional development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Two or more years of accounting or finance experience; experience using accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage Intacct; familiarity with audit preparation, regulatory compliance, budgeting, expense analysis, and financial reporting.
