2027 Internship: Finance – Lavonia, GA | Textron
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship with Kautex, a Textron company, located in Lavonia, GA. Kautex is a global Tier One automotive supplier, pioneering in the design and manufacturing of plastic fuel systems, battery enclosures for electric vehicles, and autonomous cleaning systems. As part of a global network of businesses, Kautex also provides industrial packaging and cast camshafts. This role offers the opportunity to gain foundational finance experience, supporting critical compliance, operational accounting, and month-end close processes within a manufacturing environment. This position is vital for maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency for the facility.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance Support: Actively support the development, communication, and all activities related to the compliance handbook.
• Operational Reconciliation: Manage the operational balance sheet and reconciliations, including the investigation and reporting of irregularities.
• Month-End Coordination: Coordinate the gathering of information and process accounts necessary for the month-end close process.
• Financial Administration: Administer Textron Enterprise Programs and process all payables for the Finance Department, ensuring efficient record keeping and timely payments.
• Product Costing: Assist Program Management with the accurate costing of new products and programs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Not specified; foundational academic knowledge is expected for an internship.
• Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, good understanding of Excel, familiarity with ERP systems, strong written communication, and strong verbal communication.
