What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Outreach: Visit local businesses to professionally introduce MSPowerhouse and its specialized Microsoft services.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with business owners, executives, and technology decision-makers to understand their needs.
• Opportunity Generation: Identify organizations that require improved IT support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 management, cloud services, or technology consulting.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Generate qualified opportunities through in-person outreach, cold calling, email, and networking, then follow up consistently with prospects.
• Collaborative Solutioning: Coordinate customer assessments and discovery meetings with internal technical teams to design and present tailored proposals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level experience in business development, sales, or outside sales, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Strong experience in business development, outside sales, field sales, appointment setting, account development, or local business outreach, with relevant experience in IT services, technology consulting, or managed services sales being highly beneficial.
• Skills: Proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and contract negotiation, alongside strong customer relationship management, consultative selling, and clear business communication of technical concepts.
• Bonus: Confidence meeting local business owners face-to-face, strong organizational and CRM-management skills, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for local travel.
