The Tone:
This is an internship at Fellowship of Christian Athletes, with experiences varying by location. This role is crucial in helping interns discern their personal calling and career paths while providing spiritual leadership within the FCA community, ultimately supporting the organization’s mission to impact lives for Christ.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Uphold: Agree with and abide by FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Maintain: Follow a spiritual rhythm that includes daily prayer and Bible study, seeking the Lord’s will for FCA.
• Lead: Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
• Participate: Connect to and actively engage in a local church through weekly worship and involvement.
• Model: Conduct yourself at all times in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct, in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student: Currently enrolled in a collegiate program. The internship is designed for student athletes interested in discerning their calling and career within ministry through FCA.
• Experience: Learning and developmental ministry experience during a summer or a semester. No prior professional experience is explicitly required, as this is a developmental role.
• Skills:
* Spiritual Discernment: Ability to actively seek the Lord’s will through prayer and Bible study for FCA’s mission.
* Biblical Adherence: Commitment to living by and affirming biblical standards of conduct in alignment with FCA’s Christian beliefs.
* Community Engagement: Willingness to connect with and participate weekly in a local church.
* Spiritual Leadership: Capacity to provide spiritual guidance to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through example and teaching.
• Bonus: Eligibility to serve as a collegiate volunteer. Readiness to engage in a learning and developmental ministry experience. Potential to receive a nominal stipend for living-related expenses.
