Facilities Supervisor | CBRE

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CBRE, located in Zug, Switzerland. CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides comprehensive integrated facility management services on a global scale for clients across various industries. This role is essential for delivering ‘best in class’ customer services and ensuring efficient facility operations, thereby supporting the growth of CBRE’s Facility Management organization in Zug.

• Team: Manages a team’s daily activities and reports to management, collaborating with T2 suppliers and clients.
• Mission: Ensures top-tier customer service delivery and efficient facility operations by leading a team and managing supplier relationships.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service Leadership: Deliver ‘best in class’ customer services and satisfaction, encompassing cleaning, pest control, mail services, light duty maintenance, food services, reception, and security.
• Team Management: Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and ensure team members are properly trained and meet client expectations.
• Financial Accountability: Accountable for flawless budget management, including direct involvement in contract negotiation, contributing to forecasting, annual budget preparation, cost savings, and variance/deviation analysis.
• Supplier Management: Oversee and evaluate T2 suppliers’ performance by participating in monthly/quarterly meetings, analyzing gaps/overlaps, and providing feedback to reinforce their engagement.
• Operational Reporting: Review data from work order reports, create and present performance and progress status reports to management, and make suggestions to improve efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or Facility Management professional certification.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of related progressive experience, with prior Customer Service experience required.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints, warm and engaging demeanor, high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, fluent German and English.
• Bonus: Strong knowledge of the surrounding area and all recreational, hospitality, and business-related information.
