The Tone:
This is a full-time or part-time role with a client of SR Staffing, located remotely or hybrid in Venice, FL. Our client is a premier accounting and advisory firm that provides tax, accounting, fiduciary, audit, and consulting services to individuals, families, and businesses with complex financial needs. This role is crucial for managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing essential bookkeeping support within a public accounting firm environment.

• Mission: This person will manage client financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial operations for a diverse client base.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Account Preparation: Prepare and clean up financial accounts for both entities and individuals.
• Client Interaction: Maintain consistent interaction with clients to address their financial needs and inquiries.
• Account Conversion: Facilitate the conversion of client accounts to QuickBooks Online for streamlined financial management.
• Transaction Management: Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and manage Accounts Payable (AP) invoicing, payments, and individual bills pay.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive reconciliations for bank, credit card, and various other financial accounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with 4+ years in bookkeeping, specifically within a reputable public accounting firm environment. Demonstrates core domain knowledge in client account management and financial operations.
• Experience: 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, including expert proficiency with QuickBooks Online and experience with QuickBooks Desktop. Proven track record in compiling and filing Sales Tax.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ability to integrate credit card and vendor transactions via QuickBooks platforms, competence in compiling and filing Sales Tax, and a strong understanding of cash and accrual posting and reporting principles.
• Bonus: QuickBooks Pro Advisor credentials.
