The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-18 month paid fellowship program at Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, based in Seattle with coverage across WA, OR, CA, and AK. Morrison Healthcare is a leader in healthcare food and nutrition services, serving over 1,000 hospitals nationwide. This program is designed to develop future executives, providing hands-on experience and strategic leadership development to advance careers in the healthcare food and nutrition services industry.

• Pay: $95,000–$130,000 yearly (plus annual bonus potential)
• Mission: To develop future healthcare executives by providing comprehensive operational and leadership experience in food and nutrition services.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Immerse in healthcare operations: Gain in-depth expertise through rotations in retail, culinary, patient services, and clinical settings within food and nutrition services.
• Contribute to strategic planning: Participate in high-level strategic planning, engage in client interactions, and support technology implementations.
• Lead impactful projects: Direct and contribute to initiatives including client quarterly business reviews, annual budget development, and new business openings.
• Develop leadership capabilities: Enhance skills through extensive orientation, a regional leadership academy, and structured training programs like Harvard Manage Mentor.
• Collaborate with executives: Work directly with Morrison executive and c-suite leadership, as well as prestigious healthcare system clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent or soon-to-be graduate degree holders (master’s level preferred) with a strong interest in leadership and healthcare.
• Experience: Prior professional work experience, particularly from graduate programs that require it.
• Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: A diverse background and skill set, coupled with a willingness to relocate.
